Port Elizabeth is the ‘gateway’ to the Eastern Cape with daily flights from Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.  Most of the safari lodges and game reserves in the Eastern Cape are located within a 1.5 – 2.5 hour radius from here, making access easy. 

Not only are there the game parks but some lovely guest houses and lodges to enjoy and explore the greater region.  Most of the lodges in the Addo region also arrange game drives and activities for visitors staying with them. 

Grahamstown, the colonial university town is rich in history and anyone interested in the early Settlers can enjoy a tour learning more about the Battlefields of the Eastern Cape.
