Our favourite way to describe the desert country of Namibia is "a whole lot of nothing, but captivatingly beautiful". With flight connections from South Africa and Botswana, Namibia is easily combined as a destination. There is a relatively good road infrastructure, the majority of roads are well maintained gravel roads, making driving yourself possible. Remoter parts do require charter flights to reach and this is possible from most of the major towns.
