Namibia is a diverse, arid country that offers fantastic photographic moments – nicknamed a ‘photographers paradise’. From open desert landscapes and rolling dunes of the Sossusvlei to the coastal regions of Swakopmund and the Skeleton Coast. Windhoek is both the capital and main hub with daily flights from Cape Town and Johannesburg, as well as selected international flights.
We recommend that you fly to Namibia, hiring a car and doing a self-drive holiday exploring the country. Time-wise if wanting to explore the whole country it is recommended to allocate at least 2 weeks to do this without rushing. There are some large distances between places and driving can get tiring if you trying to rush.
Alternatively you can decide on your priority – seeing the south which includes Sossusvlei Dunes, Fish River Canyon and Swakopmund or the northern region visiting the Damaraland, Etosha National Park and the Waterberg.
We have included our favourite Namibian lodges below, however do contact us if you would like to see what else we have on our database. |
