Shamwari & Eastern Cape

The Eastern Cape is a malaria free safari region of South Africa, offering ‘big five’ game reserves and easily included into any holiday along the Garden Route. Daily flights from Cape Town with a 1.20 min flying time and all reserves being located within a 1 – 2 hour driving radius makes this destination a popular safari destination to visitors to the southern regions of South Africa. Most reserves are family friendly, making this region even more popular.

Addo Elephant National Park


AEC001 - River Bend - is a luxury game lodge in a private concession of the massive, malaria free Addo Park near Port Elizabeth. Ideal for families and couples	AEC014 - Gorah Tented Camp - Gorah is a luxury tented camp in the big five concession of Addo National Park and offers a luxury safari experience	AEC016 - Kuzuko Game Lodge - is located in the northern concession region of malaria free Addo National Park, Eastern Cape.

AEC020 - Nguni Lodge - Five star Nguni Lodge overlooks the floodplains in the famous Addo Elephant National Park with a backdrop of the Zuurberg Mountains.	AEC022 - Addo Elephant Safaris - is located on a 7 500 hectare private reserve bordering the Greater Addo Elephant Reserve. Amakhala Game Reserve


AEC008 - Amakhala Reserve - comprises of five '4 star' lodges, independently run and home to the Big Five, located in the malaria free Addo/Zuurberg region.		AEC011 - Bukela Game Lodge - Bukela is a 5 star, privately owned, game reserve in the 6000 hectare, malaria free, Amakhala Game Reserve, just 40km from Port Elizabeth. AEC003 - Blaauwbosch - is a Big Five reserve located in the heart of malaria free foothills of the Winterhoek mountain range in the Karoo, Eastern Cape. The reserve offers a unique and private experience where guests can relax in comfort yet it is only 110kms from Port Elizabeth.
