Quietly nestled at the edge of the beautiful village of Payogan, Villa Saraswati is a quiet haven. Designed and built using local architectural styles and techniques, the villa is peaceful and private.
Living Room The large living room opens out onto a balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. Light and airy, it is tastefully and traditionally furnished with sofas and day-beds. A spectacular art-nouveau chandelier gives the room an intimate feel in the evenings.
Kitchen/Dining Opening out onto the gardens and pool, the fully equipped modern kitchen and large dining area seats eight comfortably round the table, or four around the breakfast bar. Meals can be prepared by guests or staff. Ask about the local food markets and cookery courses.
Library The library offers expansive views over the Villa and surroundings. With day-beds and bucket armchairs, this is the perfect place to quietly read a book or watch a film on the large television and DVD player. A selection of DVDs and books are available.
Study Although the whole house is Wi-Fi enabled, this peaceful room, looking out through the lush vegetation of the garden, gives busy guests a secluded desk from which to work.
Pool and Gardens The luscious gardens overflow with exotic foliage and flowers. From ferns to palms, frangipani to orchids, this haven of tranquillity surrounds a 16-meter salt-water swimming pool. Garden furniture includes two large parasols and four adjustable deck-beds with cushions.
