Off the northwest coast of Lombok, lie the three famous Gili Islands - Gili Air, Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan.

These stunning coral islands have long white sandy beaches and clear turquoise waters with extensive reefs, abundant marine life and the giant turtles so popular with divers and snorkellers who flock to these shores from all over the world.

Gili Trawangan is the furthest from Lombok, yet still easily accessible in less than 10 minutes by speed boat from the mainland.

Gili T, as it is known, is the most popular of the three Gilis, but still retains the charm of a tropical isle Idyllic, with no motorised transport, no pollution and a natural eco-friendly environment, the island offers a beachfront lined with cafes, bars, restaurants, dive schools, many types of accommodation and quaint artefact shops offering local handicraft and the famous Lombok pearls.
