Within the vicinity there are 5 golf courses. The closest (venue for the South African Open Championships) is a mere 5 minutes away. Strand beach is very close by with lovely golden sand and is certainly worth a visit.

Somerset Shopping Mall is also close by with dozens of retail outlets to be found under one roof. In the vicinity is a nature reserve where deer and tortoises wander amongst the picnickers. Not to mention the numerous wineries just minutes away.

Another popular local attraction is whale watching from nearby Gordons Bay and Hermanus. The accommodation includes a maid service so that you can relax and enjoy your surroundings while someone else does the cleaning.
