Franschhoek Country House is a stylish 5 star country lodge situated on the outskirts of Franschhoek.

The restored manor house, once a perfumery, dates back to 1890 and is surrounded by vineyards, offering a beautiful setting.

There are 14 luxury rooms, with most leading out to balconies or private patios. Fitted with all the expected luxuries, including satelite television and direct dialling telephones. Some rooms offer under carpet heating, air-conditioning and fire places.

The recently opened Villa Suites, Villa Restaurant and Wine Cellar, complete with water features, fountains, cobblestones and olive trees. There are 12 exclusive suites, each 100sqm with an entrance portico leading into a lounge area. The bedrooms open onto large balconies and are all en suite. Facilities include the expected luxuries, as well as air-conditioning, music entertainment facility with individual satelite and DVD player.

There are two on-site restaurants, namely the Monneaux Restaurant (voted one of South Africa's top 100), as well as the recently opened Villa Restaurant.
