Basse Provence is a 4 star country guest house situated on a historical working wine farm just outside Franschhoek.

The Country House consists of 4 en suite bedrooms - 2 upstairs and 2 rooms downstairs. The two upstairs rooms are located under thatch.

All these rooms offer air-conditioning, DSTV television, tea/coffee making facilities. The views from the rooms are across the surrounding vineyards.

The Cape Dutch Manor house, dating to 1855 offers 3 en suite bedrooms. This is also a nice option for a group of people travelling together as there is a lounge with fire-place and fully equipped kitchen. The garden area has a patio with braai/BBQ facilities.

These rooms can also be booked individually and some of them have private entrances. All rooms are en suite and equipped with air-conditioning, DSTV television and tea/coffee making facilities.

The new re-furbished Guest Cottage offers 2 bedrooms with a large private garden and terrace. Guests also have full use of the guest house facilities. The cottage is open style and fully equipped for self-catering.

Bassa Province offers guests a swimming pool, lounge area to relax, breakfast and a picturisque setting. There are large gardens to stroll and absorb the surrouonds.

Families and couples are welcome at Bassa Province.

Franschhoek winelands is in a valley surrounded by beautiful mountains and the town itself offers a very large variety of top restaurants.

Bassa Province is only 30 km from Cape Town and a 20 minute drive to Cape Town International Airport.
