L'ermitage Franschhoek is a french village styled property consisting of the Chateau and surrounding villas.
The Chateau Boutique Hotel consists of 1 Suite and 5 Superior rooms. Each of these contain full en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD players and a small kitchenette. Most of the Superior rooms also have their own private balconies.
The Villas differ in sizes. There is the choice of 17 two bedroomed, 17 one bedroomed and 2 three bedroomed villas and all contain full bathrooms, air conditioning, satellite TV & DVD player, washing machine & tumbledryer and a fully equipped kitchen, should you wish to do your own experamental cooking.

Take a stroll down the tree lined cobbled streets of the village to the fine dining restaurant, or, should you prefer to have a little picnic at the lake or get ingredients to cook in your own kitchen, try their delicatessen, where you'll be spoilt for choice.
Have fun in the sun next to the heated swimming pool, or de-stress with a treatment at the onsite Serenite Spa.
For tranquility and peace of mind, take a stroll through the vineyards and just breathe in the fresh air scented with the surrounding fynbos vegetation.
For weddings, L'ermitage offers a non-denominational chapel

The nearby areas have many activities, such as hiking, the huguenote Monument, a golf course, the Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve, and ofcourse, wine tasting. Franschhoek village itself offers a great shopping experience with arts, crafts antiques and a choice of deli's. The village is also renowned for it's top notch restaurants.

L'ermitage Franschhoek is around the corner from Stellenbosch and less than an hour from Cape Town. L'ermitage Franschoek makes a convenient place to stay as you can wind down completely and still be in close proximity to most of the Cape's attractions.
