Location
Situated down on the beach on the ocean side of Beach Road in the heart of the old town. A few minuets walk away is the marina. Plenty of shops and restaurants, cafes and bars are within less than 10 min’s walk, and the beach is down a private (to the house) path and gate. The gate is locked and keys available only to occupants.
Following the coastline of this area are whale viewing points. The Southern Right Whale during the mating and calving season (May-Nov) can often be seen along the coastline, this property offers front row viewing. Continue further round towards Betty's Bay are some lovely coves and inland hikes up to Steenbras Dam and River.

Accommodates up to 6 people in 3 en-suite bedrooms
This was one of the original holiday homes in Gordons Bay, built over 100 years ago and one of the very few properties that are actually on the beach especially in the old town. There is a picture available on request of the preserved piece of wall. The house is actually a heritage site!!
Very large family home was inherited by the two daughters who have done an amazing subdivision to create two unique residences, each completely private from the other and with their own separate entrances, the other property is Driftwood.
Living & Dining
The open plan main living space is large with lounge dining and kitchen areas
Standing in the lounge downstairs, one feels as though one is on a ship looking out to the ocean. There are uninterrupted views overlooking False Bay with Table Mountain in the background. Glass floor to ceiling concertina windows/doors stretching across the entire front of the house pulled back convert the main living space into an integral balcony.
The formal dining area seats up to 10 people, it's open plan to the kitchen.
Entertainment; TV with DSTV and DVD player
The staircase going upstairs is very gentle with a landing half way up.
Kitchen
Fully equipped with all the necessary appliances (inc' separate wine fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave), cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and cooking utensils. A separate scullery leads off the kitchen.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There are 3 bedrooms, 2 upstairs, an addition and an additional single on spacious landing both bedrooms have double queen beds. Downstairs is a small flatlett with twin (2x single) beds and en-suite bathrooms (shower, bath and toilet). In addition there is a guest cloakroom and toilet downstairs.
• Master bedroom; open plan with slipper bath, separate shower and toilet. From the bedroom there is direct access on to a balcony with stunning ocean views
• 2nd bedroom; also upstairs serviced by a separate bathroom upstairs
• Flatlet; twin (2x single) beds bedroom downstairs with an en-suite shower room
• 3 bathrooms; 1 open plan to the master, 2nd separate upstairs bathroom and 3rd en-suite to the flatlet, plus a guest toilet downstairs
Outside
• 2 balconies/decks upstairs and down, both overlooking the ocean
• Large built in braai (bbq) just off the beach
• Outdoor dining furniture and chez lounges
• Access to the beach is via a private gated (secured, own key) entrance
