The complex has 24 hour security and the house has private driveway and garage. The grounds are spaciously laid out with extensive gardens and include a 20m swimming pool, children’s paddling pool, tennis, squash and beach volley ball court. There is plenty of green space immediately outside the house for children to play safely
Also in the complex is a clubhouse with bar and pool table and large screen (popular place during televised sporting events). Many residents live here permanently and so whilst a fabulous holiday location, there is a peaceful relaxed atmosphere.
Shopping and restaurants are a 5 minute walk away and Cape Town city centre is 20 minutes drive away.
The airport is a 30 minute drive and the famous Stellenbosch winelands is 40 minutes drive.
The Atlantic Beach golf course is 5 minutes drive north from the house and about 45 minutes further on is the beautiful West Coast National Park with its wild life and lagoon, perfect for sheltered, warm water swimming.
The beach right outside the apartment is excellent for surfing and windsurfing, and over the last couple of years has become an epicentre for the spectacular sport of Kitesurfing. It is also part of a wild-life reserve and you can walk for miles on the beach and in the dunes.
The Big Bay House is ideal for a holiday right on the beach with easy access to all the sights in and around Cape Town.
