Location
The cottage is located in the Hout Bay valley just a couple of minuets drive from Hout Bay village centre and less than 05 min’s drive from the beachfront, where there is also a selection of restaurants, shops and cafes. In the opposite direction, up the valley is Constantia, Cape Town original wine growing region with some of the oldest wine estates and world class restaurants as well as some fabulous golf courses, shopping malls, cycling and walking trails.

Hout Bay is a family friendly working fishing village. The working fishing harbour is where the best fish and chips can be purchased as well as fresh fish for the braai (bbq). The harbour is less than 5 min’s drive from the cottage on the opposite side of the bay from the beach. Driving past the beach takes you to Chapman’s Peak drive commences and famous scenic drive eventually taking you to Cape Point, Simons Town and Boulders Beach (where the penguins are).
