Garden Route Tours and Safaris

The commonly made mistake is packing too much in to too shorter timescales. Some people are happy to simply pause in locations briefly where as others like spend time taking in the sights, smells and experiences. We encourage as few 1 night stays as possible to keep the packing and unpacking, checking in and out down to a minimum, plus it is key to have flexibility to be spontaneous and to enjoy the area you stay in. A packed itinerary will keep you pushing on and take the flexibility out of your tour.

Drivers and guides can be arranged for you but its preferable to self-drive.

8-12 night one-way tour taking in 4 accommodations & a safari

Commencing in Cape Town and concluding in Eastern Cape at a game reserve or turn it on its head and do the tour the other way round, driving one way and flying the other.

Winelands min’ 2 nights but ideally min’ 3 nights
Oudtshoorn min’ 1 night but ideally min’ 2 nights
Plettenberg Bay min’ 3 nights but ideally min’ 5 nights
Safari min’ 2 nights

If you have more time and rather than include more accommodations I recommend staying over in Plettenberg Bay as long as your schedule affords. Plett’ makes for a very good base enabling good access to surrounding locations ensuring there is plenty to see and do for the active both in the town and the surrounding areas.
