Situated in the quieter eastern quarter of the medina, minutes walk away from Bab Marrakech, Dar Edouard is a spacious 3 bed roomed house with sitting room, dining room and kitchen, plus roof terrace.
The entrance door is at street level and on entry; there is a wide tiled staircase up to the 1st floor. Here there are two good-sized double bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms and hallway with a wrought iron mosaic table. Each bedroom is furnished with attractive traditionally painted Moroccan double bedsteads and wardrobes. Bedroom 1 also has a small sofa and armchair and two bedside tables and Bedroom 2 has two decoratively painted bedside tables and two upholstered chairs.
Another wide staircase takes you to the second floor where the dining room leads off from the hallway in one direction and the sitting room in the other. From the dining room, there is the entrance to the kitchen and Bedroom 3 is reached from the sitting room. A shower room is off the hallway.
Bedroom 3 now has 2 single beds which can be joined together to make a double. (Note this room does not have an external window)
The Sitting Room has an open fireplace, Satellite TV, Wi-fi, a large 4 seater sofa and 2 armchairs, a traditional Moroccan painted sideboard and side tables. In the dining room, you will find a circular wooden topped table and 6 wrought iron cushioned chairs, an attractive painted cupboard housing full set of crockery and cutlery for 6 people
The kitchen contains a four-ring gas oven, electric kettle and coffee maker, and small electric oven with grill. There is a large fridge with a freezer section. Cooking equipment includes a full set of saucepans and tagine.
From the hallway stairs, lead up to the attractive roof terrace with table and chairs plus 2 sun loungers. There is a laundry room for the femme de menage, storeroom and W.C.
The house is fitted through out with traditional Moroccan light fittings and Moroccan rugs on the black and white tiled floor.
The water is heated by solar panels backed up by an electric water heater.
All bed linen and towels apart from beach towels are included. A maid attends the property 6 days a week (Sunday is her usual day off)
For the comfort of all guests, we request that there is no smoking in the house.
For larger groups there is an additional ground floor apartment with a separate street entrance. The apartment has 2 double bedrooms, shower room, sitting area and small kitchenette.

£110 a night if 4 nights or less
Low Season
£550 a week
£85 a night if 4 nights or less
Breakfast and or dinner can be provided for an additional charge paid locally.
