Dar Victoria

Dar Victoria was redesigned, and is now completely adapted to welcome tourists. The purpose was to change Dar Victoria, and to modernize it, and also to preserve traditional furnitures and classical organization. The new fittings, textiles and materials have all been produced by the local artisans.

The amazing central patio is really staggering with the fountain, the row of columns, and other decorations on the wooden doors. Traditional maintained trimmings have been highly conserved. Our supervisor in Dar Victoria, Christine, may explain, present and interpret all these symbols.

The suites were built in respect of the former residence organization.
Three families used to live there before.

• The mezzanine lays in the previous pacha's appartments, on groundfloor.
• Two other suites built on the second floor directly open on to the street.
Two large suites lay on the third one, symmetrical to the rooms on groundfloor.
Another smaller one was installed behind the gallery in the patio.
• The last suite - the modernest one in Dar Victoria - lays on terrace all above.
A large part of medina and Borj North might be observed from there.
There's a reversible heating/cooling air-system in every suite, and in every bathroom a heated-hanger towel system.
