The central point of the Riad is a courtyard with a pool where meals or drinks (range of wines, beer, spirits and soft drinks) are served. Spacious lounge and the dining room are a part or the patio. The pool itself is much bigger than a typical courtyard pool (7m/23ft long) so whilst not for Olympic training routines, definitely more than the splash pool found in most riads - also heated most of the year

Each bedroom has queen or king size bed, en-suite bathroom with shower or bath, air-conditioning, central heating as well as internet connection and a safe.

Single beds on the request can be prepared in two bedrooms.

The terrace with its fantastic view over the Bahia Palace is an ideal place to relax, sunbath or enjoy a meal.

Location is in the South Medina about 10 mins walk to the Place Jemaa El Fna.

I just wanted to say that we had a fabulous holiday and to particularly mention how lovely the owners of Riad Akka were . They made us feel so welcome and bent over backwards to make our stay there highly enjoyable.

Just to let you know that we had a great time in Marrakech which was made especially good by Riad Akka. The accommodation was fantastic, but the real treat was the team there who were all excellent, they looked after us completely and made a great fuss over the children, so much so that we felt comfortable enough for them to baby-sit one night (after we asked if they were happy to do that). We also met the owners Alain and Sylvie who were extremely welcoming.

Once again, thanks for the great service that was faultless as ever! Now if you can just manage to speed up check in and passport control at Marrakech airport.............
