Riad Edward

Riad Edward is a wonderfully ornate riad that retains all of it original character and charm. Beautifully restored by its English owners, the Riad has 11 bedroom, large courtyard and dining room and still displays many of its original features.

The riad is situated in the Zaouia quarter of the Medina, north of Marrakech's main square and is accessible by car.

The architecture centres around the internal courtyard which is dominated by a large swimming pool (7m x 3.5 m unheated). There is also a hamman and a various array of roof terraces with stunning views of the Atlas Mountains.

Some of the staff including the manager speak English and lunchtime or evening meals can be prepared on request. Should you wish to eat out the riad is in close proximity to Marrakech's many bars and restaurants. There is also free broadband access at the riad.

There are 11 bedrooms in total set out as follows:-

2 doubles with en-suite shower rooms, without air-conditioning or fireplaces.

4 doubles (one of which can be a twin) with en-suite shower/bathrooms, fireplaces and views onto the pool and air-conditioning.

There is then the Terrace Suite on the top floor with a double bed, en-suite shower room and air-conditioning.

And finally there are 2 large suites, both of which can be either doubles or twins, with en-suite shower rooms, air-conditioning and that share a private lounge.
