The suites are individually decorated in traditional Moroccan style, each with ensuite bathrooms. A nice touch is that all suites have their own private seating areas outside the room so that guests can choose either to relax close to their rooms or enjoy one of the many quiet corners of the house - the salons, the patio or on the terrace which commands beautiful views over the Atlas mountains and the Badii Palace.

There is a small pool in the courtyard to cool off in and a number of rooms have air-conditioning - essential for the summer months.
The riad is English owned and guests are closely attended by the staff who go out of their way to ensure that everything is done to make you as comfortable as possible. In addition to the traditional Moroccan breakfast, the cook Fatima can create a feast of Moroccan culinary delights served in a romantic candlelit setting for the ultimate dining experience.
You will be given plenty of assistance in planning your days around Marrakech to make sure you make the best of your time. The staff will arrange English speaking drivers and tour guides, access to the best Hammams in Marrakech, and even massages in the privacy of your own suite…… nothing is too much trouble.
Please note that Dar El Souk cannot accommodate children under the age of 7 and that the minimum stay is 2 nights.
Reviews:
"Dar el Souk - fantastic! The room, the roof terrace, the best breakfast. Absolutely spot on. Great location." Heather E, June 2008
"Staff at Dar el Souk very amenable and helpful – Maddie the English owner was very informative and willing to arrange our excursions. The evening meal cooked at the riad was the best food we ate in Morocco." Mr & Mrs L. January 2009
"Dar el Souk was a delight and Madam Madelaina was most helpful. Our room was wonderful and in fact we rebooked for the night before our early flight back home. The breakfasts were fabulous, the dining room splendid, and the staff more than helpful and friendly."Mary F. February 2009
