This is a luxurious and stylish private house. It was one of the first riads to be restored using the modern Moroccan Minimalist style which mixing strong traditional features with simple authentic furnishing style. The result is refined yet comfortable. There is great detail in the architecture – beautiful finishes to the wood and delicate stucco work.

The central courtyard is spacious and has a traditional feel to it. Here there is a small plunge pool (4m x 1,7m) which has beautifully designed. The courtyard is surrounded by private spaces for reading and relaxation. Riad Mabrouka also offers a large lounge with a fireplace as well as a dining room with another fireplace, a TV corner, a library and an open air gallery.

Rooms

There are 2 master suites - Tanger & Zanzibar - Zanzibar with private terraces that overlook the main courtyard. Both are doubles, but one can be made up as a twin. 2 junior suites – Douala and Bamako both can be made into a twin and each one has an adjacent living room with an extra bed which can accomodate an adult (Bamako) or a child up to 15 years old (Douala) - and finally 2 standard rooms – Grenade and Damas - one of which can be made into a twin.

All rooms offer air-conditioning and have been tastefully redecorated with specific colours. For your comfort, bathrobes and courtesy bath products scented with orange blossom are available in each en-suite bathroom.

Suite Tanger: On the first floor, a suite with king size bed (2m x 2m) or two beds (1m x 2m) and its own private inside lounge. Two windows overlooking the flowered patio. A spectacular grey tadelakt bathroom with a sky view and private dressing.

Suite Zanzibar: On the first floor, an oriental suite with a large bed (1,60m X 1,90m) and a small inside lounge and a tadelakt bathroom with a bath and amazing sky view. The floor is covered with Mauritanian leather carpets. This suite has its own private lounge outside the room.

Douala Junior Suite: On the first floor, Douala is a very nice junior suite offering all comfort … a room and an adjacent living room and a private terrace with two chairs.. The tadelakt bathroom offers a large shower. It offers a large double bed or two single beds.

Bamako Room: Located on its own private patio, this typical Moroccan douiria offers a large double bed (1.8m x 2m) or two single beds. Decorated on an Berberian African style, its bathroom with a large shower is spectacular. This room has an adjacent living room and its own patio with two chairs.

Grenade Room: Off the main courtyard, a nice room with a large bed for 2 (1.5m x 1.9m) decorated in red tones. The tadelakt bathroom has a large shower. The dressing room is the biggest of its kind.

Damascus Room: Off the main patio, a nice room with a large bed for 2 (1.6m x 2m) or two beds decorated in purple tones. The tadelakt bathroom has a large shower and dressing room.

On the top floor there is an in-house hammam and a wonderful terracotta terrace, where there are several places to sit and enjoy the fabulous views over Marrakech and the Bahia Palace gardens to the stunning Atlas Mountains beyond. Sample the stress-busting benefits of massage therapy tailored to your needs: relaxing massage or stimulating Moroccan massage. Then finish your magical escape to an exotic world of pleasure by snuggling up on one of the comfortable sofas in the patio or on the roof terrace, to drink a glass of mint tea.

You can take breakfast in your room, on the terrace or in the open central courtyard. Mint tea is available at any time and you can request lunch or dinner as well, although with some nice restaurants on your doorstep.

The whole riad can be rented (sleeping 12). Prices are available on request. Minimum stay 3 nights.

The property is located in Marrakech, just 15 minutes by car from the airport.
