The four luxuriously appointed en-suite
guest rooms enable you to sleep in sumptuous beds on tiled floors by tetouan
artisans and to bathe in bathrooms inspired by
Philipp Stark. Handcrafted ceilings, as if in marzipan, crown the tadelakt walls in their moody hues.
A hammam on the courtyard level, enables
you to experience a traditional ‘bath-house scrub’ and massage.
There are two salons, one offering an open fire and the delight of a little plunge pool creeping in between the marble pillars...the other is richly
canopied and intimate - both open onto the beautiful courtyard with its meandering riverlets feeding the pool.
The terrace is a wonderful place to start the
day with breakfast under the berber tent - it is also a great place to loll in the sun and to cool off under the generous outdoor shower.
Dining in the riad is a major event - there is a daily changing menu, inspired by the morning's
produce in the souk. The menu offered is Morocco
meets the Med, with a hint of Australian panache (the riad is owned by an Australian/Moroccan couple) and guests are invited to accompany the chef into the
souk to help create that evening's menu…
