All rooms and suites in the riad are different in colours and architecture, each one is uniquely decorated. There is hand-sculptured wooden furniture, quality bed linen and bath robes and slippers are be provided for your comfort.
On arrival, fresh fruit as well as dried fruit basket and mineral water are provided in the rooms - little things and surprises that make all the difference…
There large central courtyard has a pool at one end and several seating areas for privacy in the shade. There is a “winter salon” with a TV and a fully staffed kitchen where all meals can be prepared on request.
Leading from the courtyard is a basement spa with traditional hammam and a massage room and many treatments are available (the owner also runs a spa).
A real highlight is the roof terrace with has a number of different levels, most with sunloungers. There are also bistro tables where you can have breakfast and other meals and enjoy the views over the medina to the Atlas Mountains beyond. The highest roof terrace has a large heated jacuzzi - a great place to unwind are a hard day in the souks.
The riad is located in the “Old Medina”, a vibrant “living” part of town. There is easy taxi access to airport, the gardens around Marrakech and the Royal Golf Course (10 mins). The souks and the main square are a simple 15 minute walk away through the medina.

Really liked it here, an oasis of calm, loved the roof terrace and small jacuzzi, the room was fine, big enough for us all and lovely bathroom, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, breakfasts were delicious, fresh and different each day, the riad was in a nice residential area with parking nearby. Caroline H, Aug 2010
The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the service was gracious and warm. The rooms are just as described, with very comfortable beds and great bathrooms. And dinner was sublime!
'It was a perfect choice and would reccommend this Riad to anyone. It was a real peaceful haven amongst the chaos that can be Marrakech.
Joyce and Moisin were perfect hosts, respecting our space, but on hand with friendly advice. The staff at the Riad, could not pamper us enough.' Angelika E. March 2010
'La Rose D'Orient is a gem of an accommodation and hospitality. The host could not do better for us. Our rooms were on the top floor so it was a bit of a climb but once we got there the roof top balcony was a haven of peace. Breakfast was unusual- no egg and bacon substitute, but traditional Moroccan or Lebanese food. We arrived late because of plane delays but on arrival we had hot meals.
Dinner - either Moroccan or Lebanese were fabulous.' Asoke D. May 2010
'Very friendly and attentive staff who tended to our every need - be it getting tonic water, having mint tea always ready and preparing great dinners. It's the little extras that make the difference - rose petals in the pool & bathrooms, getting champagne glasses especially for us, always a smile & friendly word!
The riad is very pleasant & the room we had was super. We ate in the courtyard because believe it or not, it rained for 2 days!!
The special birthday dinner on the Saturday night was fantastic - the musican was very good & added a lot to the atmosphere of the black tie dinner with champagne for starters. The dinner was crowned by a beautiful birthday cake - the French influence really shows through as it was real high quality patiserie.' Steve&Debbie T. May 2011
'Riad was beautiful, delightful room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the food. Overall the riad was wonderful, wouldn't change a thing.' Helena C, May 2011
