Riad Shaden

Riad Shaden is a 6 bedroom riad located in the East of the Medina, at Bab Aïlen, one of the most the most authentic and traditional areas of the Marrakech Medina and about 10-15 minutes walk to Jamaa el Fna Square

The riad is owned and run by a Moroccan woman who up until 2007 worked in the hotel and catering business around the world - you therefore get a great mix of professional management in a homely setting. A big effort is made with guests and the food in particualr is very special - you will also be invited to have a lesson in Berber cooking.

Accomodation:
There are 6 rooms and suites:
- 4 Standard Rooms (Leïla, Kaïss, Chems and Fayrouz)
- 2 Suites (Ouarda and Amir)

Each room is designed in a unique and charming style, using authentic materials, inspired by the rich traditions of Morocco

Standard rooms are situated around a central courtyard of the riad. Two are located in the ground floor (room Leïla and room Kaïss. The two other standard rooms (room Chems and room Fayrouz) are located on the 1st floor.

The 2 suites are on the 1st floor facing each other and both have a sitting area: Suite Ouarda and Suite Amir. The suite Ouarda, which is decorated with soft colors, has its bathroom with shower and a fireplace. The Suite Amir is the most traditionally designed one with authentic tiles on walls and sculpted ceilings. This suite that has a bathroom with a bath

Each room has its own bathroom with shower including hand and bath soap, shampoo, body lotion, hair dryer. There are bathrobes available in the Suites.

Courtyard
Central courtyard is open to the sky with fruit trees, a fountain and sitting areas. It is a very charming and quiet place to rest, read or have a drink while listening to the birds or the water stream in the fountain
