Unusually for the medina, a taxi from the airport can transport you to within twenty feet of the front door where you will be welcomed by Helen, the English manager. The Riad is an invitation to experience the hustle and bustle of the medina, whilst being able to retreat to a place of comfort and tranquility.
The decoration incorporates the savoir faire of the best Moroccan craftsmen using tadalakt, a mixture of plaster and savon noire, to give a luxurious and traditional feel throughout the riad. The furnishings are commissioned to the highest standard, with a mixture of traditional artifacts, rich opulent fabrics and sumptuous carpets integrated with a touch of western know how to make your stay unforgettable.

Saida, the full time cook, has been trained in France to gourmet standards. Her repertoire includes traditional Moroccan fare and she can conjure up the very best international cuisine (for those who would like a break from tajines and cous cous!). Meals are provided in the dining room or on the terrace where you can relax by the pool. By prior arrangement breakfast can be provided in your suite.
Subtle lighting on the roof terrace creates an intimate atmosphere to while away the evenings. There is also the added attraction of the heated pool and the traditional nomadic tent, where you can lounge at leisure. The riad has three lounges, including a small library of books (English only)
Les Trois Mages does not take children under 15
Comments: Les Trois Mages is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in, with wonderful staff – Helen and Sarah extremely helpful with every aspect of Marrakech/Morocco advice and Saida the wonderful housekeeper who looked after us all, making delicious suppers at the drop of a hat and generally making us feel incredibly at home. Abigail I. October 2007
Really enjoyed our stay, the staff and management at the Les Trois Mages was outstanding, they really could not do enough for us! Would definitely go again. Dawn h. September 2008
We were told to treat the Riad as our home. If staff were around they were very happy to make you tea, if not you were free to use the kitchen facilities. Water was supplied free of charge and there was some free wine for guests in the fridge. Staff were very friendly and we even got afternoon tea on the terrace one day, warm chocolate cake to die for! We eat in the Riad one evening and one lunchtime and both meals were very nice. You could plug your IPOD into their system in one of the lounge areas, they also had an open fire which they were happy to light in the evenings and you also had free access to the internet although the network was a bit slow when I tried to gain access. Rooms were very comfortable and clean and the staff couldn't do enough for you. It was a haven in what could be chaotic outside. Sharron A. April 2009
