The Villa des Orangers is a small and intimate hotel which provides guests with everything that is the height of luxury and elegance. Once across the threshold you enter a world of calm and tranquillity which feels far from the heady atmosphere of the streets outside.

The palatial surroundings are complemented by fine attention to detail, such as the delicate lace-like stucco work and rich furnishings to create a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere. The salons, rooms and suites are arranged around two beautiful courtyards, one of which is planted with scented orange trees. Roses are picked and floated in the gently flowing fountain at the centre of the courtyard.

There are two fabulous swimming pools, one on the roof terrace from which you can enjoy unparalleled views across the medina to the Koutoubia and the Atlas Mountains beyond.

Rooms and suites are perfect. They are elegantly decorated and very comfortable. Colours are muted: tones of cream and gold are spiced up with warm orange. Bowls of fruit and vases of flowers are carefully arranged to reflect the colour schemes. Each room has a spacious bathroom in which you can unwind and each is equipped as well as any luxurious hotel. Some suites have their own sun terrace, others are on two levels providing guests with lots of space. All rooms and suites have air conditioning, satellite TV, a mini bar, safe, and telephone.

You can take breakfast in your room, on the terrace, or in the courtyard. In summer there is no better place to eat a light lunch than on the roof terrace. Dinner can be served wherever you choose – on a patio amidst the orange trees, in the sun by the pool, in the elegant restaurant, or in cooler months by the fireside in a private lounge. The cuisine is exquisite and will provide you with a perfect introduction to the tastes of Morocco.

The staff is brilliant. Unobtrusive yet always there to serve you a refreshing glass of mint tea, arrange that special excursion or reserve you a place at dinner. This is service just as it should be.

A car is available to collect you from the airport.
