You enter into a large domed reception area, where country home meets North African mystery. Lovingly furnished with rich textures and materials, the spacious salons provide quiet corners to escape to with a book. There are old chests, works of art and oh-so-comfortable sofas and chairs adorned with wonderful cushions. The library has the most beautiful painted ceiling. A covered outdoor seating area, the fan room, is another place to relax or meet up for a chat at the day’s end.

Dining is spectacular and meals can be eaten in the elegant dining room, on the terrace overlooking the ornamental pool or beside the swimming pool – the choice is yours. The cuisine is exquisite and will provide you with a wonderful introduction to the tastes of Morocco. Breakfast and tea are included in the price and dinner can be taken on request.

The three spacious double rooms and 2 suites are perfect. The décor and furnishings are entirely tasteful. Each room has a stylish bathroom in which you can unwind and each is equipped as well as any luxurious hotel. The baths are made of marble and there are bathrobes for each guest as well as hairdryers.

The staff are cheerful and helpful and will arrange massage treatments, excursions into Marrakech or to go hot air ballooning, horse riding or 4 wheel driving. The small team is unobtrusive yet always there to serve you a refreshing glass of mint tea or a cool freshly-squeezed orange juice.

Although situated a short drive from the centre of Marrakech, it is easy to arrange a car to take into the centre. Dar Zemora is the perfect place to unwind after a day’s exploration of the bustling narrow streets of the medina and souks and is especially suitable if you have visited Marrakech before and simply want to chill by the pool.

A car can be arranged to collect you from the airport at local cost.

The property is located just outside Marrakech city centre in the Palmeraie, just 20 minutes by car from the airport and only 15 minutes from the medina.
