The house has 4 double bedrooms, 3 with en suite bathroom. The fourth double bedroom bedroom is next to the large family bathroom next door. There are 2 sofa beds in the house so it can accommodate 8-10 people very comfortably.
The main accommodation and stunning deck is laid out on first floor. At garden level there is a large double bedroom, plus a TV room with satellite TV, enjoying direct access to the garden, solar-heated sparkling pool and double garage.
The house is tastefully furnished and very secure with armed response link to Chubb Security. Kommetjie House is situated a mere 40-minute scenic drive from Cape Town International Airport and vibrant V&A waterfront. Nearby golf at its best is available at Steenberg, Westlake and Clovelly golf clubs.
Kommetjie is an ideal base being perfectly located for Cape Point, Simonstown and the False Bay area.

There are several good value restaurants, bistros, cafes and pubs in Kommetjie, with Imhoffs Farm offering good food, farm shopping, interesting and varied craft shops, plus Camel rides, just 5 minutes drive. 2km further the highly acclaimed Rioja restaurant at Solole Game Reserve provides fine dining and a great wine list. At Sun Valley Mall you will discover very good shopping and several restaurants and cafes.
From which ever route one approaches Kommetjie, the drive promises to be a scenic delight. Across "Ou Kaapse Weg" the drive to Kommetjie via the Silvermine Nature Reserve is truly spectacular offering the panoramic view first of False Bay and the Cape Flats and then of Long Beach and the Llandudno mountain range.
From Hout Bay Chapman's Peak Drive curves along the Mountain edge and provides a dramatic visual display of mountain and sea where every corner offers a new surprise of contrasts. From Muizenburg one travels along the rugged coast through the delightful towns of Kalk Bay and Fishhoek with a glimpse of Simon's Town. This is the drive called the Cape Peninsula Scenic Route.
To see the African Penguins at Boulders Beach it is just 20 minutes from Kommetjie on the False Bay coast.
