To the south and east are the peaks of the highest mountains in Morocco, including Angour, Oukaimeden and the Toubkal Massif. The views are complemented by the Kasbah's red sandstone walls and its beautiful gardens.

The locally made furniture has Berber motifs. Comfort has not been overlooked. All of the bedrooms and suites have under-floor heating, air conditioning, telephone and free wifi internet (on request). Most of the beds can be made up as two singles or one king size double. For example a Tower Junior Suite for a family of 4.

Kasbah Angour's kitchen uses the best fresh produce, including fruit and vegetables from the Kasbah's own gardens. The cuisine follows the seasons with Moroccan and Mediterranean themes. Once a week there is a musical evening featuring traditional Moroccan instruments. (The night is varied according to numbers of guests.)

'Lovingly attended garden, with a good pool and views of the mountains. Good food and facilities - enjoyed the wood fire at night. Pleasant walking straight from the Kasbah. English owner.' Chris and Ruth M. March 2014
'Kasbah Angour was in lovely surroundings and although very international in its decor, was very welcome after the desert.' Julie A. January 2014
'We couldn't get over the beautiful surroundings and views from the lovely comfortable Kasbah Angour. As unfortunately I am unable to go trekking we decided to go for a morning trip into the hills with a driver, organised by the manager Paul. We had such an interesting time. He took us to the local market in Asni explaining that this is for locals not tourists so advising us not to take photos but took us through the market showing us every aspect of their life, stopping to smell the herbs and discussing the vegetables etc. with us. He even bargained on our behalf for an old traditional teapot that I took a fancy to. He then took us high into the mountains to get better views stopping in a hill top village for tea and toilets in a very clean cafe run by two sweet girls. The driver explained about life in the villages, pointed things out and stopped numerous times for us to take photos. By no means did we feel we had missed out by not being able to go walking or trekking. Rosemary H April 2013
'Kasbah Angour – great location, beautiful accommodataion… Paul was really helpful. Food was abit limited, could have been more varied. But overall great, we hope to go back to do more serious trekking, using Angour as a base.' Helen D. March 2013
'This is just a short note to say a very big thank you for our recent holiday. I absolutely loved Kasbah Angour in the Atlas Mountains what a find. If their is ever a job going their when I sell my B & B please let me know ha ha.' Susan A. March, 2013
'We then spent 3 nights at Kasbah Angour which has the most fantastic views and treks from the back door so to speak. We again had a wonderful guide who used to be in the Moroccan ski team and we did a 4 hour trek from the kasbah with him and then a full day's trek from Imlil with mules the following day. That was a major highlight for me - probably not for my mule....... We were all completely awe-struck by the scenery and the views and by the friendliness of the local people.'Frances L.
