The original building is over 250 years and was the former home to Sheik Salehbhoy Moosajee and his second wife Begum Zarina Moosajee, who was a flamboyant artist and Sri Lankan socialite. Nowadays it has been converted to house 2 beautiful suites and 10 rooms, a swimming pool, fitness centre, private meeting room, restaurant and a lounge bar.
The two luxurious suites were the private bedrooms of the former occupants and along with the remaining 10 bedrooms come with elegantly designed en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, flat screen TV, cable TV, DVD, a surround sound system, Internet facility and Wifi for guests with their own laptops, tea and coffee-making facilities, mini-bar, safe, personalised valet service and in-room massages with prior notice.
