WHAT ITS GOT

Enter the house over a bridge of railway sleepers above a trickling water feature and into a spacious living area with polished floors, handmade sofas and locally crafted furniture.

The main open plan en-suite bedroom occupies the whole of the upper floor. Several sets of french doors lead out from the bedroom onto a three sided terrace overlooking the private pool, garden, and ocean.

The sand and grass garden goes all the way to the private beach gate where garden seating invites you to while away the afternoon.

This house is perfect for a couple who like moving around from one comfortable spot to another and who like space. Alternatively the large daybeds in the lounge can sleep 2 children making this a great property for a small family. There is a second toilet/shower room on the ground floor.

FOOD & DRINK

The house is let on a room only basis, but there are two permanent members of staff at the villa who will be happy to cook for you throughout the day. The food is bought at the local market and charged at cost price which makes eating at the villa very reasonable. Guests are also welcome to use the modern well equipped kitchen themselves should they wish to do so.

Guests are welcome to dine wherever they like. Either inside the open plan living room, outside on the veranda or beside the swimming pool.

FUN & GAMES

Frangipani Tree is about 15 minutes from the historic town of Galle containing two of Sri Lankan's famous sites. The World Heritage 300 year old Galle Fort largely built by the Dutch, and the Galle International Cricket Pitch.

Several scuba diving schools in the area will take you to wrecks and reefs and you can go whale and dolphin watching from Mirissa. There are also several local turtle hatcheries and the villa will arrange day excursions to Yala Safari Park on request.

It's a fab place with great pool, views etc. We loved the food that was cooked for us and really loved the chilling out during the days in the pool. ESSENTIAL EXTRAS

There are 2 permanent members of staff at he villa - a house boy who lives at the property in the staff quarters and a daily maid. There is also a night watchman for the evenings.
