WHAT ITS GOT

Lavender House has five bedrooms, each of which have an individual character and have been renovated and decorated in traditional colonial style. Rich textiles, antique beds, open fires, large bay windows and wonderful en-suite bathrooms make the rooms extremely comfortable and cosy.

The house has a light and airy conservatory in which to enjoy afternoon tea. A beautiful formal dining room with interconnecting wine store. A warm sitting room with large soft sofas in which to enjoy a night cap and a games room which houses a full size billiards table. Make sure you also venture into the kitchen at some point just to see the old features.

Outside the house has a huge infinity edge swimming pool with glorious views across the valley and a clay tennis court.

FOOD & DRINK

Lavender House has a professional in house chef. The focus of the food is delicious home cooking, using local produce. Both international and Sri Lankan dishes are served. A selection of sensibly priced wines are available.

In addition to the main meals guests can enjoy quiet morning coffees on the terrace, traditional afternoon tea in the conservatory and pre dinner drinks which are hosted in the sitting room.

FUN & GAMES

Kandy is about 1.5hr from Lavender House. The Temple of the Tooth and Botanical Gardens are especially popular.
