WHAT ITS GOT
Four airy and spacious en-suite bedrooms, with reclaimed antique windows and four poster beds are set around a courtyard of frangipani trees and a sociable central lounge. All have ceiling fans and mosquito nets, but no A/C.
The two upstairs bedrooms to the rear of the villa enjoy spectacular views of the ocean and a wide veranda from which to absorb them. There is also the option to dine from this vantage point. The third bedroom is also upstairs and while smaller than the rest has a great warmth and character to it, as well as being the most private. Finally the fourth bedroom is on the ground floor, with French doors looking out on to the courtyard and swimming pool.
In addition to the dramatic swimming pool and immaculately lawned garden, steps lead down to tranquil waters and a private beach.
Gracious household staff comprises of a cook, housekeeper, maid, gardener and security, as well as three dogs – all Labradors and Rhodesian Ridgebacks who are extremely friendly and give the house so much of its character. Rooms are cleaned daily.

Familiar with exceptionally high standard, the owners of this properly have appointed an excellent cook and will call upon another to help when the house is occupied fully. Both Western dishes and Sri Lankan rice and curry are served at the villa. Guests will be able to discuss their likes and dislikes on arrival and the staff will shop accordingly. Breakfast is included for non-discounted rates.
