Colombo is Sri Lanka's capital city, its main port and the country's commercial and financial centre. An hour and a half hours from Kalatyaka International Airport this bustling metropolis is a blend of old and new. Hectic and noisy Colombo is hardly conducive to a relaxing holiday, but can make for an explosive introduction to this vibrant country. For a more relaxing option however, many of our customer’s chose to stay on the outskirts of town at a boutique hotel closer to the airport or coastal town of Negombo.
