Although a well visited region of Sri Lanka and home to many of the Islands ancient treasures, Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle is only just beginning to reflect the island's emerging boutique market. Plagued by the traditional package tour, we have had to work hard to find hotels that offer an interesting and authentic alternative to the larger chain hotels. All suites have private plunge pool and are facing the Kandalama hills; most suites have view of the lake. SLD001 - Kaladiya - is a beautiful converted farm house near Dambulla, with three rooms which can be rented individually or as a whole.	SLD004 - Vil Uyana - is located 5km from Sigiriya and set over 24 acres of wetland consisting of paddy fields, marshes and waterways reintroduced to the area by this unique hotel.
