Brain child of Aussie/Brit team Manathai exhibits a wonderfully unique decor full of creative details, while at the same time retaining a homely feel with large bulky antique furniture and cozy fabrics.

The 55 rooms are spread over two wings the larger of which was built more recently and houses the more expensive suites. The various standards of rooms have a uniform sophistication with quirky little touches from the door handles to an individual black fish that can be found in a fish bowl in each bathroom. Almost like mini room mascots.

The hotel has two swimming pools, 2 restaurants, a beautiful lobby with high vaulted ceilings, a pool bar and a library with computers and free internet access. There is also free wireless internet throughout the hotel and DVD players in each room.

The hotel is located on the west coast of Phuket. Surin Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Although very popular with tourists and dotted with high end resorts it has retained its natural beauty and laid back atmosphere. The exclusivity of this area has kept away the crowds and there are a number of good eateries and small boutiques in the village.
